I might've emailed John about this but I don't remember. Plus, maybe we can get a group of people wanting them as well?
THE IDEA:
Of course, we see land cruisers and tundras with fender protectors on the ARB bumpers, but I'm wanting to expand this idea to the group, but mainly to Nissan XTERRAs.
MY CONCEPT:
I have an 04 Xterra with WKOR Sliders and an ARB Bumper. Maybe instead of welding into the frames of the two (ARB and WKOR Sliders), we can make a latch or something similar to a "hand" and screw into the pieces of the slider and the bumper; something similar to what the ARB/TJM Bumpers have, but ALSO on the sliders.
Has anyone else thought of this? Obviously, welding would be easier, but if I decide to sell certain parts in the near future,(ex: my ARB Bumper), it'd be hard to disassemble making it only one big piece.
I'm REALLY REALLY wanting these, and I'm thinking RLC could be our best bet considering its a local shop (1.5 hours away from me/<4 hours for some) and that they've worked with XTERRAs in the past.
