I didn't realize it was that populated. But missouri city which is right next to sugar land is about the same size population. And i was thinking more square miles when I said size. I may be wrong about that as well. but I know it takes well over an hour to get from sugar land to woodlands

Because, many schools still travel to see the capital, and, it makes more sense for the capital to be located in an equidistant spot from the farthest points in all 4 directions...

Business comes and goes. When Houston got rampaged by the hurricane, it certainly wasn't making the most money. DFW probably gives Houston a good run for it's money on the income part anyway...
