I don't know if this is a new issue or a old one. Believe it or not between two old cars my repair list is a bit too long. Still, maybe someone will have an idea.
Xterra has been hard to start lately. This morning I tried to start it twice. It cranked but wouldn't ignite. Alright, **** it, I took the car to class instead. Came back expecting to jump it and turns out it works just fine. Turned over like nothing. However, later today it started to hesitate. Like I'd press the accelerator and it'd feel weak, like it didn't kick in right away, and once or twice I almost thought it was going to get so weak it would stall on the road.
Two things are broken that I know of. One of the cats is busted. I don't have the time or money to fix it (although I have the part). It's bank 2. I don't think the cat would be the issue, at least in this case. Someone told me a bit back that my ECM was busted. That could do it but I'm not really sure either. I have no clue how to fix that if it is busted.
I'm about to buy new spark plugs, wires, and an air filter because it's about time to change them anyway. The truck is at 153K miles now.
Any ideas?
