Since I'm not backpacking I usually have a coleman 2 burner, assorted spices, bottle of olive oil, cast iron pan, and kettle, cook utensils.

Coffee wise I use my aeropress or in the event that we have a coffee maker, just use that.

One Of Fancy cooking stoves that are compact. Is a small Alum Can With Inverted Can with in. Called a Alchy Stove. Which I used for SAR missions warming up Emergency meals for in Folks cold.. Or I required hot meal. I use 1oz Gave me a 6 minute Burn rate. hot blue flower of a flame.

Using the Alcohol stoves. Used the Automotive gas additive for fuel Denatured Alcohol. ( Which Is poison If it leaks in your back pack )

Switched to EverClear 100 Proof. WORKS like a charm It leaks, food is safe with added fuzzy feeling.. as with a Wound cleaning solution as well.
Fun to fire up at night.. for those Hot buttered rum needs in camp

I tried one of those I built myself. Never managed to get the heating rate I felt like I needed. May try again in the future but since most of my outdoor cooking is near a vehicle, it's not a necessity to have ultralight gear.
