on a serious note, anyone have any feelings on trimming the fenders? I am thinking about cutting along the top edge of the wheel hump. I may just make my own fenders.

rock on man, I don't judge
I'm going to stick with 32s for now until I'm able to achieve my goal of SASing my x then I will run 35s maybe. I'm getting old I don't want to have to climb up or down a vehicle to get in and out of it if I don't have to.

I am probably going to run 35's but if I could run 37's I would like to. I am going to build a tube chassis buggy to satisfy my 44" tire needs.

Get air saw. Cut fenders. Imma do it here soon.
I think I am too. I need to pull my liners all the way out and get a good look in there. I would just remove them all together but I would have to fab something up for the snorkel. If I made my own custom fenders I could make the snorkel work still though.

On another note.

Went to try and swap my camber bolts on the lowers. Sigh.

Gotta buy new lowers and come back with a Sawzall. Was able to get the nuts off but none of the bolts would budge.

I will say though. Having access to a lift is the ufcking tits.

Honestly, I'd run the fiberglass fenders if I could get the snorkel to work.

But yeah. I'm going to template the current curve of the wheel arch and just shift it back so it comes down on the edge of the slider. Should result in about 2" more rearward clearance and I'll cut so that I can fold tabs back in to remount the fender liners.

Kinda thinking of something similar.

The 37s require just a bit too much fiddly shiat for me. I don't want to have to reinvent the rear wheel arch. 35s will be enough......for now.....

It's going to be a Frankenstein build. The parts kit was a good price. My trigger is made by Daniel defense it has a 3# pull going to be sweet. I'm either going to get a ground zero or sigg stripped upper. then I need to find a good barrel I'm looking to go either 18" or 20". I also have not decided on the bcg either I have been looking at my options but have not decided. I also have a few accessories I want to get also. I can't wait to get it built but then comes the issue of dealing with my wife (she claims she hates guns but has never shot one).
If not going 16" then go 20". Link to trigger please. Been shopping
