Hey y'all, it's been a while to say the least. I picked up a mini cooper countryman s all4 in March so the truck has only been getting weekly local drives. Annnnywho.... I'm giving some love to the pink beast and I have a few codes I'm throwing. Any feedback greatly appreciated.

P0327- knock sensor... How do I know which one? Anyone got a part number (oem or otherwise)

P0328- also knock sensor? What's the resistor mod?

P0452- evap- I have a new canister.. Just need to swap it in.

P0134- 02 sensor? How do I know which one? Anyone got a part number (oem or otherwise)

Doodles!

Knock sensor code can be ignored. Canister is no surprise. Just replace all 4 O2 sensors. Bosch units can be ordered on Amazon for about $28 each.

I can't remember if you are NA or S/C, if NA don't give it second thought, this is all about the knock sensor. But I agree with prime about all of the rest.

If I'm gonna be throwing codes then I have an issue. I wanted to get everything situated before inspection at the end of the year. But thanks for the info. I am NA, not s/c. Was just gonna order the knock and 02 from rock auto this weekend. Knock sensor if I remember is a PITA to do. Not looking forward to that lol.

The knock sensor will throw a code, but won't set off the light.

134 refers to sensor 1, bank 1. That's the one on the passenger side right next to the engine. Pretty easy to get to actually.

I'd try clearing the codes and seeing if they came back first anyways. If they do come back I'd only change the one "sensor 1, bank 1". Changing all four wouldn't be bad but seems a bit overkill to me (kinda pricey). I wouldn't bother with changing the knock sensor at this point. That code will come up when ever an O2 code does.

A CEL eliminator might also be a good option for you in that situation, it pulls the 02 sensor out of the stream enough for the computer to see a difference in the two sensors so that it does not set the code.

Just something to think about.
