I was outside raking and bagging leaves...
Was paying a dude 60$ every 2 weeks to come do them. He disappeared for a month (jail) but didn't tell me so the leaves just piled up on the lawn. Finally I reach out to him and I'm like wtf. He says he just got out so he'll swing by...a week after this (week 5.5) he comes out, rakes some of the leaves up and the rest are just left in piles all over the lawn. I call him and ask if he's coming back..."Yea I'll be back tomorrow, my blower went out."
2 days after this he still didn't come back. I text him to not even bother coming back - I'm gonna do it myself. He says "Well I need to get paid for what I did" My response "Fair enough...you tell me how much work you think you did...tread carefully with your response because I am livid right now."
$20. Fair price...he did blow them into piles. However, I just filled 28, 50gal bags, and the lawn still had plenty of leaves left on it.
Man the tree in my yard won't drop it's leaves till we get a good snow, happens every year.
