2002 xterra died and now won’t crank over

hey guys/gals, So my xterra (02 4x4 w/190,000 miles) decided to crap out on me. I started it and drove it for bout 5 mins before the engine just shut off. So now it cranks but does not turn over. Batteries new, crank sensor is good cause we tested it, fuel pump is good cause we can hear it...

Installed LED headlight bulbs an not blinkers don’t work

So I installed these LED headlight bulbs on my 2002 xterra. They are pretty much plug an play. Snap right into the OEM wireharness. My blinkers worked right after an bout 1 hour later they stopped working. I checked the fuse box for the 7.5 fuse was ok. Any ideas why the turn signals don’t...

    Re-wiring OD Switch...2 white wires?

So I swapped out my old automatic shifter for a upgraded look. The new shifter doesn’t have a switch for the Overdrive. So I’m moving it to the dash using a push button switch from amazon with a LED light This switch has 5 pronges in the back (C, NO,NC, Positive, neg) There’s only 2 white...

Another Bump stop question.. but different

Oh yah, the dash sounds horrid when I hit a pothole. Haha I’m glad I finally have a straight answer about my crap low-profile bump stops and their gap space. So I’m gonna re-index the torsion bars, get some OEM bump stops, make my gap space little higher then .5 in, and low my tire pressure to...

Another Bump stop question.. but different

Where can I find the OEM bump stop? They are a little harder to find then I thought

Another Bump stop question.. but different

My bearings are brand new and my shocks are too. It’s harsh as in I’m driving with no suspension on a road filled with potholes I’m thinking it’s the bump stops, there hard plastic and they are low profile so I don’t technically have a .5 gap compared to the stock bump stops that are a lot...

Another Bump stop question.. but different

My shocks are new and my low-profile bump stop isn’t OEM, it’s kinda hard and cheap froM Amazon. Maybe the heavy duty torsion from 4x4 parts and a OEM bump stop?? I’m not looking for a BMW quality ride but just a less harsh ride

Another Bump stop question.. but different

I’ve read and read but haven’t seen anyone ask this question. Ok so the bump stop gap determines the ride quality an what not. You need at least a.5 gap. Here’s what I have as far as tire/suspension: - Calmini UCA - Bilstein Shocks - Low profile bump stops - 15 rims with 33 BF tires My truck...

Front end steering shot ( PP and Grassroots Steering center link MIA)

Hey everyone, So my front end steering is pretty much shot on my 2002 xterra. My truck has a suspension and body lift with 33" BFG tires. Calimi UCA and a idler arm brace. Since grassroots 4x4 and PP pretty much no longer exists, I can't pickup a new center link from them. My question is I...

My lifted xterra rides like a lowered car, How to adjust suspension

Thanks everyone for your help, just got the 33's, like a retard I didn't check the tire pressure which of course was at 50psi. I lowered it down to 40psi and turn down the front end (torsion bars) by .5 in. It made a noticeable difference. thanks again Front tires are rubbing a bit, but...

My lifted xterra rides like a lowered car, How to adjust suspension

My shock is attached, haha. Slight bump steer. Do u think my gap is off because I'm using a low profile bump stop compared to a OEM bump stop? So the upgrade torsion bar from 4x4 parts should fix the issue?

My lifted xterra rides like a lowered car, How to adjust suspension

I appreciate your both of your help. I have a low-profile bump stop so that may be a issue with the gap space too. Here are the pics.

My lifted xterra rides like a lowered car, How to adjust suspension

So I have a 2002 Xterra with the following suspension/tires upgrades: - Calimani (whatever its called) UCA - Bilstein 4600 lift shocks - Rear Shackles - Low-profile bump stops - Torsion bars are maxed out (have not re-index them yet) - 33' BFG KO2 tires with 15 inch rims Problem: My...

Maxxed out torsion bars - Ride quality

I've researched but cant find a solid answer. I have my torsion bars maxxed out. About 1.5 lift with low profile bump stops (0.5 gap) on 3' Bilstein shocks, Calmini UCA. Would re-indexing the torsions bars help my ride quality at all? Or does it have more to do with the gap spacing that effects...
