2011 4.0 ticking

I've searched around and seen threads on this for the younger 4.0's regarding the VIAS but none for an engine this new.
Stats, 42,000 miles, new to me MT. Oil is top hole on the stick just changed it 5-20 Mobil 1 with a Bosch filter.
Symptoms: lifter sounding ticking faint but there when hot 2000-? Rpms (engine noise obscures it after about 3000) present with load or without, louder under than over motor with hood up, louder behind front wheels than in front. I don't have anything to use as a stethoscope.
Can totally replicate it, and has been there before I changed oil.

Previous oil changes were dealer, Dino oil was changed on time by me. Noticed it and now it's really bugging me. I'm light on throttle and just tooling around dropping off kids an stuff it's noticeable.

Thoughts?

A few of us have gone looney tunes chasing ticks only to find a loose heat shield or something easy. Check all the little, easy things before sweating the hard ones.

Second oil change total and the noise went away......1300 miles later it's starting to come back?! If tht helps with anything

Have you checked to see if you are loosing oil?
Also it could be the timing chain guide

I'm checking stick every fill up I'm still amber color no significant loss noted. Ive not heard the noise first hand or been around anyone who has so that is a possibility. Another thought is it might be a skid bolt as I drop skids to change oil. I wish I had extra folks I could strap to the sides and ride around while I made the noise to reAlly pin it down.
