OK gonna sound stupid, but is it "lefty loosey, righty tighty" standard threading? I got mine to move but it moved to the right!

I'd like to find a white ball with the 2H 4H N 4L pattern on it. Similar to a mustangs stock Knob like what Hans' came with

Cameron. The guy I got my 8 ball from also has white cue balls. He might be able to do a custom FYI He drills the pool ball out and threads it the right 10M x 1.25 thread so no adapters

Towel and a pipe wrench work pretty good.

Dish rag wrapped around the knob if you want to keep it in tact. If not just put the pipe wrench right on it, give it he'll. use leverage in your favor.

Cool idea! My transfer case shift knob was missing when I bought the X. Decided to order two B&M T Handle shift knobs to replace my 5 speed and 4x4. Went with plastic cause I know how temperature effects them! The .44 mag is sweet too!

I only got to the second page in this thread and I was able to get mine off. This worked very well. Its a sliding bar clamp, saved my butt more than once. No marks on the knob!20160417_120512.jpg

Just so you all know. Yes. The knob threads off. Now, there is some loctite in there from the factory, but if you need to get it off, you can.
