ARB bumper + Body lift

Quick question: I have a 2008 xterra with a ARB bumper, in the next few weeks i'll be purchasing a 2in body lift. The lift comes with front bumper relocation brackets, the question is will it still work even though I have an ARB bumper? Will I be stuck with a 2 in gap in between my lights and the bumper, or will the front relocation bracket work with the arb bumper?

I believe (I might be wrong here) the relocation brackets that come with that kit are of the stock bumper. I don't think they will be able to hold up a steel, aftermarket bumper safely.

Find a metal shop that will copy the brackets into a thicket steel.

Yeah o think the brackets you speak of are for the rear bumper

I have not seen the 2005+ ARB design up close...but, on the 2000 - 2004 design, they had these wings that came back to the frame horns to brace the bumper.

If you do a BL, and then want to raise the ARB, you'd have to cut those off/fab up something to make up for the lost strength, etc.

The 2005+ have less frame horn coming forward than the older X's did, so the mounts can easily be different...any one see the mounts for the new ARB?
