With a consult II it will bleed itself
After messing with adapter fittings once, I'll always flare my own lines. I've never had an adapter that didnt leak.
I ended up pulling out the plunger. It wasn't long enough to give me the full stroke. I bought a threaded rod and cut it to length. I was able to bleed a lot better and pedal is a lot firmer now.
I tried to do the ram 1500 master cylinder upgrade last night as my original master started leaking. Picked up one from the wreckers out of a 01 ram, the bolt holes line up but the center is to large to fit into the booster. I though the 98-01 was the correct one. any ideas?
Do you have a pic? Not really sure what you mean
Don't have a pic. Its the part of the master that fits into the brake booster that seams to be to large.
Figured it out. They gave me one that had hydro boost.
