Has anyone installed them? Mine are starting to lose all support, and I want something comfortable to swap in. The way I spec'd them set me at $1050 for the RS and $1150 for the XRS with lumbar support and seat heaters for both seats. I can live with the price if they're worth it.

I have wondered the same thing. Amazon has much better prices on a pair without the lumbar and heat. Like half of that.

I did the quote from the official website. The lumbar support is primarily for my wife. She has a buldged disc in her lower back that occasionally flares up so I'd rather err on the side of caution, and the heated seats would just be a nice luxury.

I have not installed a set, but I have ridden shotgun in a couple of rigs that have them. Not the easiest to get in and out with them in there, but very much worth it once you get in. The bolsters are tall, so think of that aspect, but being tall they hold you in the seat very well, and the suspension part soaks a lot of the spine jarring drops out of the trail.

Only thing I have to say about this is I hope your not very tall if you put in aftermarket seats. The corbeau brackets make the seats set a couple of inches higher than the factory ones. Then if you add suspension to the seats your going to be sitting very tall I would imagine. I have some cheap seats on my corbeau brackets for now and I only have about 3 inches between the top of my head and the roof. I am just shy of 5' 10". But I will also say that even my cheap seats are waaaaay better than my worn out stock one

I installed the XRS in my gen1...like granite said, hard to get in and out of, but worth it once you're in there. BUT I'm 6'0" and I don't think they would have accommodated anyone taller. Install was relatively easy, one minor issue is they are substantially wider than the stock seats and therefore hard to get to seatbelts

I liked how NMterra's looked... I may add a set to Stan once the SAS is finished
