Did some more work on the X today, added some ambient lighting to the interior. Pretty nifty project, took the afternoon to do and I'm happy with the results. Little $25 kit off amazon did all this, I'll see how long it lasts.

Oh hey, I'm back again with some updates. Finally replaced the AC condenser. Pretty easy job all things considered. Pulled the headlights and grille, then removed the front brace with the horn and airbag sensor. Was able to wiggle the old one out and the new one in without touching the radiator or anything else. Recharged the system and it works nice now, just in time for a humid Georgia spring and summer.

But unfortunately the CEL light is on for cat codes. Gonna throw some O2 sensors at it and hope thats all it was otherwise time for some new cats.

Aside from that everything's been really solid. The starlight headliner has been flawless since I installed it, and everyone loves it.

Fan clutch is not the best though, it locks up about every 10 minutes when I'm driving and gets pretty loud. Also still need to replace that noisy pulley in the front at some point...

What's the code?

Had a fan clutch go out on a road trip once and was an easy swap in an autozone parking lot.

Get a couple spark plug nonfoulers, drill them out so you can put the rear o2 sensor in them, and place that assembly in the bung. It moves the sensor out of the exhaust stream tricking the ecu into thinking things are running better. Proper fix is to replace the cats

Might consider that if O2 sensors don't work. Aint no way I'm replacing the cats when I'm going to be emissions exempt in 5 years anyways.
