this happen today, here's your dose of creampuff for a little while. I've been wanting a ford focus for quite a while and i really like they're hood vents, so i thought maybe they'll fit on my X so i ordered them and boom they worked out as good as i was hoping,

I haven't been on XN in months, and this was pretty much the first thing I saw upon my arrival. What a great way to return.

Well done, sir. Well done.

Very curious about that metal middle section of intake tube where those vacuum lines connect. Was that custom done or can that piece be found some where???

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Short-Ram-A...ash=item4b008cf3d1:g:PYgAAOSw6btXTenT&vxp=mtr

this is pretty much was this is, i needed it a little shorter then the factory rubber section, so the flex pipe didn't have too much of an angle, the vacuum lines are the ones that were mounted on the original rubber boot, and intake box nothing crazy added

Thanks! I'll be adding a snorkel soon and would like to get rid of the air box and rubber intake tube before it tears. Great build btw, very inspirational!

Any who any 1.5g guy knows how ****ty the cluster is, and luckily for us prime made a little diy LED Swap in here so i proceeded to doing it

OK So originally when i read Primes thread i skimmed it pretty fast got the gist of it and carried on, i did run into the Same problem he had (should of read the whole thing...) where the LED only faced the front meaning hot spotting and no equal distribution of the light, i don't have a picture on Photobucket of that ATM he used i believe 194s and soldered them to the cluster... i didn't feel like going that cray so i got 360 degree 74 LEDs which worked out a lot better then originally
End Result

It actually sits fairly level, i welded up the rest of most of the shackle to move it to a shop to get a better weld on the shackle
still waiting to get my shock towers installed, drive shaft made, re gear and steering rebuilt but for the most part im happy with the progress..

nice! i gotta ask why didnt you trough the frame with the shackle? i feel like its more exposed this way. also consider a ubolt flip.

Alright so here's how this went down I had the mounts in the frame, hip hip hooray, then I decided to move the axle farther up (recommended by some reliable people) then I ran into an issue with the cat being in my way(boney motor sports showed me it can be done but I messed up) and the barnes shackle was like my plan J and am actually content with it
