I am 100% noob when it comes to 2nd gen. What is titan swapping? I assume you are using some parts from a Titan, but which ones?

Titan front diff, axle and control arms.
Believes to be a much stronger diff and total set up. It also stretches the front out.

285/75R17 Toyo M/T's possibly thinking about selling them because they are slightly used and selling a few of my spare parts like the Pro-4X wheels and interior rack and buying either some Goodyear MTR's or Goodyear Duratracs in the same size or close too.

Thanks everyone and my instagram is racn26, I should have lots of pics up after saturday... been a crazy week!

The Pro-4x wheels would look great. I think I'd rather see the Duratracs on there, but that's because I think I'll be going back to an AT after these mud terrains wear down.

Haha well just finished a nice long goneMOAB meeting that took 5 hours :p so I was going to try and post up a couple pics of various things on it but that will have to wait. So I will just post the two pictures I had prepped already for the thread tonight...

Completely armored underneath already! :) Except radiator I am going to make a custom bar to protect that. But no bumpers unfortunately I don't have money or time for that... So maybe someday after gone!

Went and did a little test run tonight the first time trying 4 wheel drive, everything worked flawlessly... I couldn't test the front locker though because the compressor is not installed yet. But I couldn't even get close to flexing enough to see how bad the rubbing might be... More on that later (it's already trimmed)

^ Yes you do!

Well since I am posting let's get an update! I have had the ARB High Output CKMA12 compressor for some time and I have been debating where to mount it... I looked up a few places but seems those who had it mounted didn't have a solenoid or weren't going to be airing up tires... So we debated for a while and I even had built a bracket to put it vertically infront of the air box but my dad suggested relocating the horn and mounting it there!
ARB-2.jpg

It's a tight fit to work on so I unhooked the bumper and headlight but once in there it has tons of room!
ARB-1.jpg

I couldn't to all 4 mounting locations underneath and 1 side was uneven so I used a large washer and a rubber one to give it the right amount of height but to lock in place used a couple of lag bolts that we extra heavy duty...
ARB-3.jpg

While we are working let's get a picture of the X :)
ARB-5.jpg

To prove it's actually in there...
ARB-6.jpg

This is before putting the healight back in but we rotated the solenoid back around and had a lot of space for the air hook up which I still need to get so I can air up tires.

Probably a good idea. How do you like the gearing? Aren't a lot of people doing 4.10's? Or are those people staying with 33's

It's been a while since I have had a chance to update :p but really it's been busy since I have had some pretty big updates I figured I should probably post because there are some more coming...

First thing first... ARB Diff cover, I got mine right before our annual utah xterra owners club pony express run and decided to change it out before the run! Absolutely love it, I always have, although I like the red better than the black but I don't think red and green go together.

Everything about this cover is awesome, I love the dipstick and the magnets on both dipstick and drain plug
_DSC1110.jpg~original

Also it can still be used as a high fill to make sure you have enough
_DSC1118.jpg~original

And all the bolt heads are recessed and protected!
_DSC1117.jpg~original

Second I got a new Gobi Rack stealth... came with a ladder and the 30" LED light bar mount, I still plan to add a couple dualies to each side!

_DSC0997.jpg~original

I don't know if its just me but it seems taller than all the other pics I have seen so I am wondering if they changed the mounts to make it taller, I may in the future change the mounts for lower profile...
_DSC1002.jpg~original

And lastly I got my Shrockworks bumper which I had them do some custom work for me, LED's recessed for fog lights. One spot and one amber... Also got the 20" LED lightbar mount. But because I didn't know how it would look until I got it (yes it was a 3 or 4 months of waiting) I asked them to not powdercoat it so I could modify if needed so once I got I had all my skidplates (except the aluminum gas tank skid) sandblasted and powdercoated at the same time.
_DSC1792.jpg~original

And at last (if you haven't seen on facebook or instagram yet) the bumper itself
_DSC1812.jpg~original

_DSC1810.jpg~original

I really love the profile on it and been getting a LOT of looks and compliments so yes I am extremely happy and yes to answer question Shrockworks will do this for you too IF you buy the lights from them but expect the cost to go up.

And to finish up I just picked up thanks to my good friend Justin who ordered a set last year of 35x12.50 Toyo Rough Terrains (no pic only on my instagram/facebook) to be mounted, and also thanks to Justin we kind of traded each other/bought his back bumper so I have a Max-Gear Armor rear tire carrier which I am currently cleaning up some of the mod's that had been done to it and getting it ready for powdercoating! So once that gets done I'll add another update, but trying to rush since I am suppose to be going to Easter Jeep Safari for work and I want to have my X already!
