Looks sweet man! I am gonna shed a tear because I'm about to cut up my x bed to use as a XL cot mattress for my wife. We haven't been able to use it in the x for years and won't for a long time due to car seats. ;(

Oh no... X beds are so much more comfortable then air mattresses or sleeping on the ground in a tent. Here are some of the latest pics of my X bed sleeping area (feet go under the storage shelf).

So your the raffle couple. All I heard last year (my first NXM) the day of the raffle was about this couple who wins everything. Then when you started winning people were like not this again!!! Well it is nice to finally put a forums name with the face I saw.

It does not matter how you get your parts as long as you get them and put them to use.

Hahaha...Thanks, worked really hard to modding it to where it's at today. I could not have done it without meeting some of the great people and friends in our Xterra community.

Tell me more about your dual battery setup.

This battery bracket fits perfect

After extending the hoses to power steering reservoir and relocating the power cables you will have plenty of room for the dual battery bracket.

Used a short piece of treated wood for a support.

Anchored the bracket using the wood and two other existing holes.

Mounted the isolator to the side of the bracket.

Ran new cables and a switch to active the secondary battery when needed... Wah Lah

Hope that helps

Let me know if you have any other questions on it.

Nice info! I dig the relocation of the PS resi.

So are both batteries just wired to the isolator? They're not just wired in series?

One battery is wired to the vehicle as normal, and the secondary battery is wired in parallel with a flip of a switch. If my Fridge or Lights drain the primary, I can activate the secondary to restart the X or run the fridge and light again.
