Yeah, you don't want to lift with blocks unless you're a bro truck or mall crawling. Plus,I believe the 2nd Gen is a spring under so blocks wouldn't work anyway

Im always hunting for the cheapest way to lift my xterra. I was searching today and found http://m.ebay.com/itm/Steel-Complet...ckle-For-Xterra-2005-/331769011663?nav=SEARCH
Now i dont know about the blocks pictured but the description said shackles not blocks. I want to hear your opinions on this set up if anyones tried it or if it even looks worth the shot.
Also, the hardware that comes with the arms is Chinese garbage. A few have replaced the hardware and spent just about as much as SPC arms.

Greg @PRG sells a eBay uca rebuild kit for like $150. I didn't look at your link, but arms are usually around 200. Putting total investment at 350. Still 150 cheaper than SPC now. Though, SPC arms are still better.

The hardware my be junk but i work at a big shop and can usually have somethings ordered or made fairly cheap "somethings" lol my plan would have been to replace bolts with better but as far as uca spacer shackles and everything for under 350 didnt sound too bad

You can easily get a full kit for under $1K on Nisstec if you wanted to go with the OME kit. If you're still wanting to stay cheaper, you should be able to get a good spacer kit from Nisstec or PRG for under $300.
