I didn't notice if it was mentioned in the thread anywhere or not, but if you are going to LBL, I would recommend just access roads. The last time I went to Turkey Bay (OHV area at LBL) the trails were in terrible condition and were either passable in a Town Car (albeit a very bumpy ride) or you were testing armor within the first few feet of the trail.

I agree with Ryan, you will have a better time with access roads.

Well guys it looks as though I'm pulling out from this trip unless the forecast changes. 95% chance of rain Friday and Saturday. With me bringing the little one all day rain isn't a option

Around here (which is very similar geographically to where I'm originally from) its very common for those types of forecasts to be made and then nothing actually happen. I'd say its going to be a typical hot sunny weekend. If and when the conditions are right, the area over LBL (especially the northern rim of the lake) will enhance storms (high levels of hot moisture from the lake).

You all should come anyway....I have a massive tarp if you want to use it lol.

I've missed trip after trio and haven't even gotten to use my bumper..I will be there!
