Gobi Ladder

Hey, quick question. I was wondering if anyone knows whether or not you HAVE to have the gobi roof rack in order to put on the gobi ladder. I know someone on another X forum was selling one and when I looked up the product, I believe it was talking about needing a roof rack but on his X, I didn't see one installed on there. I'd rather not buy a roof rack considering they're pretty damn expensive, I'd like to just have the ladder. Yes, I've tried to contact them in the past but no response. Any ideas?

You do not need the roof rack to have the ladder

Nope. I have a Dephep Rack and Gobi ladder. Which they work independent of one another
