I'm looking for a belt I can wear every day that will be sturdy enough to support a holster when I want it to.

My normal one just won't hold my damn gun up.

Suggestions?

I have some CC holsters tht are IWB. Both of which use a 1 1/4" belt clamp. My other holsters are OWB. usually warn under a shirt or jacket.

And Fauss, that might work, but I'd really prefer a leather belt. Something I could wear with dress clothes if need be.

I've heard good things about the Jake Belt built by Theis. I don't have one, and they look a bit pricey, but I love his holsters. Same quality as Crossbreed, but cheaper, different options, shorter wait times and without all the crosses and religious stuff. Add in that Tommy is a great guy to deal with, and I don't think I'll use anyone else for that style IWB holster. The belt might be a birthday gift to myself too.

I use The Beltman. My 1 1/4 black bull hide works great for casual or dressy.

I would second the beltman. My first belt from them has lasted 10 years now and still going strong. I have 5.11 leather belts also. They do ok, but pale in comparison to beltman belts.

Yes! My favorite belt is my black Beltman horsehide, 1.5" with black buckle. It would hold a bazooka but its also comfortable.
