Low-cost Lobo

Following suit and making use of scrap parts is what i do best!

I'm assuming most have seen Lobo's before.

Fortunately, i made mine for literally free.

I used an old plastic coated aluminum closet rack. A can or so of Krylon black dual(paint+primer), and some old fluorescent yellow cordage.

I was going to say, my Lobo rack cost me C$6, how can you get any more lost cost than $6, but free works....

Yep! Free isn't always the best option.. But in this case.. Absolutely!

What have you gor yours mounted with?

How much rear visibility do you lose in doing this. Seems like you would lose almost all of the rear view mirror.

I can't say for others that have used different methods, but mine currently sits about the 3rd line down from the top of the glass. I also have MOLLE pouches attached to the front that eat up more space on the sides. To be completely honest though, even at stock height, I don't have many issues seeing whats behind me. Except for rare circumstances on very rare occasions.
