Hey I drive a 2002 Nissan Xterra se 2wd. I need to replace the lower ball joints and I'm just wonder where would be a good place to find cheap and solid ball joints! Thanks

any parts store they are not very pricey no matter where you go. Rock auto is great if you can wait a few days to get them in hand.

Nissan recommends that you just replace the entire LCA. Which is garbage. Moog ball joints are available on Rock Auto pretty cheap. The only special tool you need outside of a ball joint press is a huge socket or pipe wrench for the lock nut on the ball joint.

O Reilly's has the MOOG joints and they are grease-able. I just did this job and went with the NAPA joints and they were not grease-able. So, I purchased a grease needle. DO NOT TRUST THAT THERE IS ENOUGH GREASE IN THESE JOINTS. china loves to put just enough that it feels ok at first. A year later and there junk.
