The lower half is plastic and the up half is sheet metal. I do realize that sheet metal screws will probably have to be used for the upper half and with the lower half some investigation will be need to figure out whats below it so nothing is damaged.

Awesome, I will look into that, the surround of the window is plastic isn't it? I really like this.

In case you did not understand my hint. I will buy this is you make it. Even if it is a one off.

Just in case you all havn't heard, I am running a Pre GONE Moab Sale on these now. 10$ off the standard retail price till May 14th

Great deal, great product. Besides the great functionality of these for hanging stuff. They also protect your windows. And not to mention add that certain look.

Just thought I would say that I love the idea here. I have long wished there was more utility to the ceiling hooks up there. I have tried hanging a cargo net from it, bungee cords to hang things on, etc...but they never worked out very well...Great looking accessory and love the utility of it.

I did take it that way, I want it to I think, we probably have to put stronger struts on depending on load. And there will no longer be a need for a rear veiw mirror for sure, unless you just wanted to look at a really cool accessory.

^^that's my problem with the back glass one, I use my rear view mirror way too much to block off the rear window, not to mention I don't think I could come up with enough molle pouches, and things to fit in them to warrant the rear mirror loss.

as you guys can tell my rearview mirror is only for looks. and hanging those things they give you at offroad parks. Keep in mind this is without my 35" spare in the way also.

"Why did you order 3 SAW coilovers?"
"I needed one for the back hatch."

I could see a use for the rear protector, but I don't know how big of a market there would be for them.

So I went down a washboard road for the first time with these. I heard this rattling for a while and finallay it annoyed me enough where i had to go check it out. I will tell you this. These are very sturdy and strong and will not fall out if mounted right. But the tops should be tied or zipped tied down to prevent vibration and rattling. Or what I did is put a bungy cord between the two on top and it cured this issue.
