Well, I just wanted to share one of my other communities with this community. I've been involved with the R/C Hobby for a few years now and this is one of my favorite trucks I've built. Trust me, if I could find an 1/10 Xterra body, it'd be on there. There is a 1/10 scale Titan out there and will probably pull the trigger on it soon. I just thought some of y'all might find this interesting:

Nice! I have a 1/8th HPI Savage. I run an Axial crawler body on it though. At my flight facility we were running trucks on break for awhile. At one point we had like 27 trucks running at one time in short races. Talk about loud, all but four or so were nitro. I'll try to dig up a pic of all of us lined up sometime.

Haha! Nice cover Cap'n. I highly recommend Axials, I've had something from pretty much every manufacturer and can say that the SCX10 is very far down on the "needed repair parts" list. Fortunately, this isn't an R/C forum loaded with fanboys, so I won't get roasted for this comment, but stay away from Traxxas, especially when entering the hobby. When everyone's defense is that "they have the best parts support" I don't see that as a positive... If you (or anyone) has any questions about getting into R/C, feel free to PM me.

This is really awesome. I honestly had no clue this existed in the RC world. I feel in love with RC stuff as a kid but it faded when I got older. When I can comfortably stop spending money on the rig and my upcoming wedding, this looks like a great hobby

Nice man! If I ever did get into RC crawling I'd definitely get one I could put an actual body on. I've seen one with a 60s Bronco body that looked awesome.

I have all kinds, from ridiculous monster trucks to crazy comp crawlers, and the scale trucks are still my favorite.

I was looking into one of these things but couldnt justify spending $350 on a RC truck no matter how boss it is. I did however contact them and asked them to make a xterra model...that'll probably never happen but these things are pretty dang cool

good to see another SCX'er. I just got into the R/C game late last year after some buddies had been trying to get me to buy one forever. only in $250 so far, bought it used, has all aluminum links, upgraded servo, and came with a set of Wraith stock 2.2 ripsaws

needs extended links, lift and wheel wideners for the 2.2's to be fully functional

Very nice! We have two of the Rubicons, I guess you could say a his and hers. They've been a lot of fun so far, and Sponge just bought a new motor for his.
