popping out of 4WD low

Hey all, I got a 2000 X and just got a 2" BL. Now it randomly pops out of 4WD low. What might be the problem?

Most likely you are not able to pull the shifter all the way back and need to cut a notch in the plastic console to accommodate the full throw…

But it never did that before the BL. does the BL change the throw?

Yeah, it's a pretty common issue with any of these trucks running a bl. The amount of trimming varies truck to truck also. Like on mine I didn't do any trimming, I got away with just pulling up on the shifter when I go into 4lo

Yep. Under the boot metal needs trimmed.
Mine wouldn't even go into 4lo after BL til I trimmed.
