My middle rear seat belt receiver (female) won't latch the mail receiver part. This is an issue because I have to carry my three kids with me.

Is there a way to fix it or where can I get a cheap replacement? I've calleda llt he local salvage yards and no one has any Xterras. Is there another bike that fits the rear seat belts?

If you need it now/soon, you can purchase one online. You're looking for OEM part 88842(MA). Here are some sources:

Regal Nissan (Site Sponsor)

Courtesy Parts

E-Nissan Parts

Parts alone are $25~, and it shouldn't be difficult to replace at home.

Just a thought, I think I've had problems similar to this in the past and I'm pretty sure if you accidentally try to insert the middle seat belt into one of the outside belts receiver, it won't lock in and vice versa, just check the belt with both of them on that side.

LOL, I felt the same way when I ran into that problem, I noticed the other day that the Center receiver has "Center" stamped in it, but who's kid is going to read that before trying to buckle???

YES! Dummmy but dumb design. Who needs two different seat belt latchings? Thanks for saving my money and time.

One thing I noticed is that if you get the belts plugged into the correct latches, they are actually crossed over eachother (the female ends). It just seems like the design isn't correct, because why would you want the short female ends of the belt to cross over eachother?
