Removal of spray guards

I am going to be taking my pro-4x off road for the first time here in a few days. I don't want to rip off my spray deflectors.

It looks like they are simply screwed into position. Is that the case or is there a more complex retaining system I should be aware of?

Are their retaining clips etc.

To reattach, is it as simple as screwing it back on?

No, thats pretty much it.

Should be 3-5 plastic screws per piece. Unless your local laws require them, I'd leave them off.
