My lower rad mount is fubarred, this looks like a very interesting idea. re work the lower mount and install a all alum rad. I wonder what size tranny cooler I would need. have you figured that out yet?

Your R34 Radiator build is pretty cool, Is the top and bottom all metal? I might put this in, today when I was changing my spark plugs i broke the plastic for the intake hose and would prefer havving the metal so that doesnt happen again. Also my core support for my radiator has rotted out. http://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=701366&cc=1388167&jsn=413 Would this be the right part from Rock auto?

Yes, the R34 Radiator I did is full aluminum.

For the support, Im not entirely sure. Might be worth looking at a parts diagram and getting the part number.

I'll check it out, for now I'm OK but with plastic parts on the rad. we all know how that goes. So 1 (2x Torqflo 12"x5.5") and thats enough cooling for the trans? I guess I thought it would take more.

No 2x means 2. Theyre decent size and certainly more cooling surface over stock.

Will do, I started smelling antifreeze last night, I don't think my rad. likes being hung from the top mounts. So, I'm starting to put together the parts to do this mod.
