everytrail is also good, but spring for the pro version over the free one.

I also run Trail Ranger, it is a incliminomiter and GPS tracker in one.

Good idea. Do it! (please)

Oh and does anyone have the Maverik Maps app? I have an android based phone and for the life of me, I cannot figure out how to download and open maps from the internet to get them on my phone. Maybe it's b/c I'm a daft blonde, but I just cannot figure it out...

I know a lot of websites love it as well, but my favorite GPS app is still MotionX. The pro version is much better than the free one. I will say that I don't have live guidance for it (which means it doesn't auto update your route or talk back to you) as I have found I'm just fine without it.

Trail Ranger seems like the app I've been looking for. How accurate is it?

I'm stuck with T-Mobile and I'm up for a new phone and could use some help picking one out. I'm leaning more towards HTC just because the reviews seem better but then again I really don't know much about phones.

I'll tell you what I want to help with advice. I want a phone that will host apps such as Tappa talk and Angry Birds (the popular ones) not the junk Nokia puts out. I need the phone to browse the internet easily for hanging out on XN :) Oh and I'd like to be able to go all day with just browsing the internet, texting a bit, and talking a bit without having to charge.

Should I go exclusive with Android? Windows phone?

It's a cost issue really. I guess if I could get what I have with another service I'd switch. Not sprint though. Or AT&T. Bad service here. I guess I'm left with Verizon and US Cellular.

Right now I've got unlimited minutes, unlimited messaging, unlimited data *full speed til 2Gigs*, and unlimited talk for $150 with two phones.

My buddy had an iPhone 3GS jailbroken on his T-Mobile plan. Worked great all of the time. I will warn against an HTC Evo or the like; they burn through batteries. My mom has one and hated it.

My old cellphone finally died and I was forced to buy a new. What is the app I need to get to access XN?
The smart azz salesman said after he had cash in hand..."Welcome to the 21st century". My wife asked me if I punched him. I said no but I did say "I've been here all along, just without all the B*llsh*t that goes with it until now".

I love my iPhone. I used to be an avid android guy but switched over to the dark side. My brother is an avid Android guy. He's constantly rooting his phone with updated roms and stuff.

I used to be all iPhone. I had every iteration from the beginning to the 4. After having an iPhone 4 I determined that it didn't matter how many times Apple came out with a new phone. It'd still be the same phone. Same UI, same look, same feel. And while I appreciate the quality of iOS products, the whole platform just grew stale for me. I've been through 3 different Android phones since and I've liked each one better than the last. The infinitely customizable UI, the hardware, the ROMs, all of it.

Because of my business, I feel like there is a need to exist in both worlds. So I have an iPad also, but I'd never go back to an iPhone.

There are times where the apps aren't as good on the Android. Or there are specific apps that are only available on one or the other, but for a phone, Android all the way.

I love my iPhone 5. And my 4 was awesome.
These have been the only phones that I have been happy with.. Generally with the droid phones I wanted. New one after a few months..

The droid stuff seems to slow down after a few months too.. I hated apple for many years till I started using them.. Now I have a iMac, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and so on.. I like that I have one platform in my house that all work together.

I used to be iPhone all the way. Android was too buggy for me. Until I picked up a galaxy s3 and htc one and had the features down to me. Smokes iphone. Apple is fading back in the innovation dept.

I have the Straight Talk Iphone 5 which runs off Verizon and I love it. Ive had android for a bit but all the ones ive had and my family have gone to crap after 6 months and slow down and constantly crash and battery life dies like no other. I wont be going back to android unless apple somehow bankrupts

How much are you paying? I'm paying a lot for the most minimum single person plan with data.

Ive had old android such as the droid x twice and the droid 2 twice. Both time the phone crapped out on me. Battery issues, random restarting issues, freezing issues. I also had the iphone 3g worked beautiful till i jailbroke it. Then had probs. had the iphone 4s jailbroke it, worked nice but battery would drain. Now i rock the iphone 5s on the original os. No complaints. If u goin this route i would suggest a 32gb or more. I also had blackberrry bolds but i dont think they exist anymore haha

Nice! I'm currently using a Nexus 5, but as soon as the iPhone 6 comes out (bigger screen), then I'll switch back. I just felt like the iPhone screen was too small compared to all the Androids I have.

EDIT: I didn't mean for that to sound douchey if it did. Because of my job, I have just about every phone there is, so I've used them all.
