Speaking of the shovels they are just pretty much a shovel but my wife's work sells the black and deckers for $10 if anyone wants one let me know

Those Black and Decker ones are pretty nice; my wife bought one a few years ago for her metal detector setup. It's super light weight, reasonably strong and it has a composite handle that won't splinter if it gets wet.



I had one of the Cold Steel ones a while back... it was pretty cool but not very functional as a shovel. I never tried to use it like a throwing knife, that probably would have been a lot of fun.
