Ok, there was discussion that we needed a thread to post xterra pics in, so, here we are.

RULES:
You MUST credit the photographer and xterra/owner, and please list the location where the picture was shot as well if possible.

Did this HDR yesterday while i was out and about with a buddy. We ended up getting over a foot of snow here in Nebraska. I was upset I don't have my hunting gear down here at college with me This is also the first real picture of my X with a lift, the rear is lower than normal though, as I had a couple sandbags back there.

Heading out one evening for an overnight in the Utah west desert, following the old trnscontinental RR bed at sunset.

Stopping by the old Lucin townsite at dark (note old RR ties still in ground)

Sunrise where I camped for the night at the sun tunnels right near the Nevada border. If I'd been a few weeks earlier at the winter equinox, the sun would have been in perfect alignment thru the pipes.
Freaking cold. Down to zero that morning out there, but the X kept me safe.

The other set of pipes aligns with the summer solstice sunrise, plus all the holes drilled into the pipes for constellation tracking. Kind of cool for an "Art" project.

I haven't been to the summertime event as a bunch of hippy-types apparently congregate there for their own version of a mini-burning man celebration.
Been told there's nakedness, but not the good kind;-(

There is some strange cult group not too far from this place I'm told. Been by it, but never stopped to say hi!

Don't wish to be a missing person stat...

Had a hermit waving a gun at me one day not far from here one morning. Guess the LEO's had to pick him up later when he was shooting at hunters on BLM land.

And my wife wonders why I'm packing heavy when I'm out in the desert???
