We have nearly identical tastes in whisky. I do love some well aged Jameson.

I'm just starting to get into Bourbons. It took me 34 years to have an old fashioned, now I love them.

Jack Daniels Old No 7 led me to bourbon which in turn led me to Irish whiskies. My favorite bourbon at the moment is Blanton's, but there's a whole mess of good bourbons out there. On the lower price end, I tend to go for Maker's Mark and Turkey 101, which is a much better bourbon than most people give it credit for.

Last night was Sierra Nevada Narwhal, Fuller's London Porter, and Woodchuck Hopsation, which is hands down one of the best ciders I've ever had.

"Rob's Sparkling Rum Punch"

a remarkable concoction I came up with for a New Years drink.

1.5 shots of white rum
1 shot of orange juice
.5 shots of fresh lemon juice
0.25 shots of grenadine

shake on ice, pour into martini glass

top off with sprite




hmmm...very nice. very strong. Don't let the fruit juice fool you.

Wild blue blueberry lager , definitely not as good as sweet water blues. There's to much blueberry in it. It's all you can taste. Maybe after a few more it'll grow on me lol

Last night I had a Chocolate & Orange Peel Smoked Porter from Stone. It was magnificent. Then I had a St. Peters Old Style Porter which was also pretty damn good. And I had a Wasatch Apricot Hefeweizen.

I am about to have a Terrapin Liquid Bliss. Or two. Or maybe three.

Found some kcco black lager last night. Pretty good stuff.

I agree. Found some in Nevada on the way home from a run a couple weeks ago.
Not bad at all!

Oh, and drinking some Bulleit Bourbon with a shot of coke.

I'm not drinking it right now but I want to mention that the Shiner prickly pear beer is really good.

The Shock Top Apple Crisp beer is a little too fruity, but is really good for summer. It's less fruity than a Reds or the other fruit drinks though.
