You may have noticed we have been quiet the last couple of weeks. In addition to projects in other industries we have been improving the tooling on the products we currently offer. We had been putting a lot of labor hours into every product. They were coming out great but, honestly, it was so many hours that it just wasn't sustainable.
Now that we have rock solid tooling production times are way down while still maintaining our high standard of quality. And we have incorporated some suggestions from users of this forum. For example, to create enough clearance for those running 35"+ tires we can/will shorten the front stick out of the rub rail by 1". This is all built into the tooling. It simply has to be specified on the website at time of purchase. To accommodate this the website has seen some upgrades. All available options are available in drop downs in the web store. This will keep all options requested on one order sheet, reducing potential for error and improving accuracy of the final product.
And so finally we went and bought a pile of steel and are working on building out to the point where options would be applied. With that I would like to announce our current lead times being down to ~2 weeks - order to delivery.
That said, I want to make 2 slight modifications to our lead time.
(1) I'm posting the day before a long holiday weekend. We are all taking the 3 days off to see family, friends and get the hell away from each other.:luv: We'll be back at it Monday.
(2) Powder coat will add 7-10 days to the lead time. We do not do it in house and are at the mercy of his schedule.
