I was thinking the same thing, but then in the different pics, it shows how far it can open up. Pretty impressive!
Probably still be lighter than a tube, mounting plate and a cast iron vise with minimal jaw opening.

Mac, I've seen that vice before. I'm more thinking of a standard receiver flipped with a metal plate and a vice bolted to it. Or figure out how to do a removable one on my front or rear bumper.

I wrather have something like this to have a spare winch and vice in the back. Lets be honest if you need either you have the time to mount it to the plate.
