Vg30e ecu?

Has anyone considered using one if we were to re-pin one from a Hardbody/ Pathy. I was on the Jim Wolf Technology website and they offer ecu reprogramming for the VG30E. If we used a '95 specific ecu, we could retain OBD2 and be able to reprogram for future mods. Opinions/ questions/comments?

SLR racing did it on their race frontiers I believe. Its a lot of wiring however he stated that it made a large difference as the computer doesn't dumb down the engine performance mods intake, cams, etc. I considered it though it seems it would be a wiring nightmare.

Hmm. I wonder how much rewiring is actually needed. I guess I should compare the pinout before considering this kind of undertaking.

More power. With the vg30 computer you can also use nistune. BTW just built a vg33 and dropped it into my pathfinder with the larger vg30 cams and ecu. I need to post the build thread

Yeah I saw Nistune had the VG30E listed, but I don't know anyone local to Nashville that would be able to tune it. Even with all of their experience, I'd prefer to use Nistune over JWT.
