Then I decided I didn't like the paint job....so I added my own touch.
Painted the bottom half black along with the grill guard/tail light guards and both bumpers.
Took the side steps off.

Added a AEM Brute Force cold air intake

Cut up my bumper a bit, added lights...

Then decided I needed racing stripes, light bar, and blue roof rack...

Let's spruce up the dash too...

Then about 2 months ago I realized I didn't like the silver. I didn't like the black. I didn't like the racing stripes.
So I stripped it all down, primed, and painted my favorite color.....BRIGHT WHITE =)

Very nice!! Was repainting easy? I'd like to paint mine rat-rod black.
Really depends what kinda quality you want. I spent about $300 on it, and it works, but if your looking to do something thats gonna last a real long time, you can go to Maaco and get it done for about $100 more. I'll prob have to repaint in a couple years.

Those are 33's. My T-bars are maxed out. But those tires are only about 20%, if I were to buy brand new tires I'd have to get equiv. of 32's w/o installing a BL.

You know you drive an X when you think "What's that ratting" and finally figure out it's because you left your wrench wedged underneath while working on the torsion bars.

Oh sorry wrong thread.

Totally relevant though.

Holy shiza nice work! I think I've seen you driving around too!

Really?! It's definately an eye catcher haha. All that red is going bye bye though. Where in Denver do you live? I live in Arvada and work at Alameda and Broadway downtown.

I believe it's just a couple of screws holding the seats in. Then she just taped everything off and painted away. You have to make sure you buy fabric paint though. Regular spray paint won't work.

yeah I have used that stuff before to paint speaker boxes and stuff I just never used it on seats before do you know how well it holds up on seats??

[posting for xterror] It's held up pretty well. She'd had it on the seats for a little while when I went out to CO to visit. It doesn't rub off on your clothes and didn't really show any fading then.

Yeah, the fabric paint is awesome. As long as you do it correctly it'll last quite a while. I started to run out and didnt coat my driver seat good enough so its started to wear out a bit, but not bad. As far as the rear seats, take out the bottom half like normal, then fold the top down. If you take the backing off (gotta pop out the clips, and most will bust in the process) you'll see the brackets, so just unscrew those and they'll come right out.
