Originally a "Rescue X" (ChefNate got rid of it to buy a Titan) to be used as a DD while I continued to build Terra, I ended up making this one my primary wheeler once I realized how capable it was....

So I was all ready to argue with you about your claim that this rig is TS'd and then seeing it have an r180 front axle. Then it occurred to me that Nate actually bought a Titan in lieu of keeping his X. Ah ha moment discovered!

Wired up some lights and the CB. Both roof lights and CB cable running through the grommet near the top driver's side of the hatch. Gobi rack has wiring in it, so the roof squares I hooked into one of those pairs of wires, saving the other pair for the light bar I'll put in the middle when I get it. Unlike the bumper light bar, where I mounted the relay in the engine bay, with the squares I ran wires through the grommet on the driver's side and into the engine bay, to the blue sea fuse box. The relay stayed in the cabin.
Not a great pic, but here's where I mounted the relay, and you can see the grommet where wires went to the engine bay:

CB cable and wires from rack into vehicle (I'll neaten this up later):

So in prep for Moab I got the sliders welded on, painted the gas tank skid and hung it, got the e-locker wired up and working. Also put a big-ass XN logo on the hood!

Survived the week without major damage, just a bent rad skid lip and need to take it in for an alignment. Knock on wood that's it...I'll pull the skids and check more thoroughly this week.

Great looking pics from Moab. Some of them have great angles of your X. Wish I was there. Ah well, at least you guys more than made up for it for me. :)

Dang man, you'd think you were going for some picture of the month contest or something with those pictures

It's amazing how many great pics come out of Moab...lot of good shooters. Eric p, civicjoe (and mrs civicjoe), Dan g (ORPP) deserve most of the credit above, with a couple of my iPhone pics in there also

Edit: WHOOPS I left out rattfink (johann) who actually took most of these pics....including the best ones with the close up from the side, the drop and the one with the xn logo prominently displayed on the bonnet...

Hey Sean, what mounting hardware did you use to mount your light bar on the tube bumper? And what is the circumference of the mounting clamps you used? I'm trying to figure out how to mount my 7" bar to my bumper, joy.

No clamps Mel ... The bumper is plate there, and i turned the feet inwards to fit and drilled holes. Look at the pic right under the one of Nate in first post...

Why thank you sir. I aspire to posicles and awesomeness

I just remembered...we only ran Strike Ravine during the week...and I had already run out of Popsicles.

Note to self: more Popsicles for the week.
