Edo's (Jason's) Offroading Pictures Thread

I didn't really know of anywhere to throw this, Saw Aaron's posting a few times here and figure'd I'd throw in and see where it went.

I really don't have these organized into any order, So I'm just going to throw them out until new posts come along.
I plan to post here anytime I go out and about and the X gets dirty.

So, Lets get this started!

Lets roll the clock back some, back to when I got started and even had a clue about the Nissan offroading Community.

Lets try... 2007.
I had a 86.5 Hardbody SE 4x4, I loved it, the front IFS hated me. I made the vow then to SAS a Nissan, It was the first planned SAS, I never got to it...


I was a member over on NOR, they planned a run to Connelsville, PA and I was game.
I was still in school however, And somehow I don't know where I had the money to do it.





I had a decent time, other than the IFS going crazy due to angles up front (I know much more now than then...)


That came to an end mid 07 or so, The hardbody was sold, and I drove a Ford for the time being...
Now, Lets skip to the point where everyone else is here for, This is XN after all, So... I'll bring on the Xterra.

In 2007, Late 2007 to be exact because I remember taking the Xterra off-road very very very early.
Some of you may get a kick out of the picture that follows this one.

A little further, Lets move to ECXC 2008.





That started the obsession...

Keepin them coming!





The one time of year that I love, Most people hate it though.
Winter!

A bit more into time that I can remember some things about when I went out.
I've got the same group of friends that I go wheeling with, and I seem to be backup for them. Most don't have a winch or any recovery gear.

They get the idea that they should call Jason, the dude with the Xterra that has everything under the sun to pull people out.
Including at 3AM in the morning.

Even if I am 2wd, I still go to... Pull everyone else out...

Back in April this year I got invited to go with a few people, Most just had cobbled together vehicles, most just wanted to go out to get away from the city.

Buddy of mine is almost ALWAYS going to hit a hole, or hill, that you tell him he CAN'T go thru.

Here we have a Jeep, pulling a Jeep.
Said buddy is in the white Jeep. Stuck.



And after that jeep yoked on him for about 30 minutes I told them to unhook and move out of my way.
5 Minutes after I hooked up to him, he was out, figured I would take a picture of the hole he made.



After that they kept messing around that hole, I however knew better being 2wd at the time.

I decided to go on up the road to the end of the gravel road.
Took a couple shots on a bank that I used to jump my ATV when I had my Predator.

And now, this post puts us up to date.

This was yesterday, Saturday.

Just me and the guy that had the white Jeep, Which now has a Tracker. (Still believes he can hit anything)
But he kept it toned down seeing how BOTH of us were crippled 4wd's.

Before the leaves completely fell off all the trees around here, Me and my Jeep friend went out and did a bit of offroading down his way.

Started the day off running a few old gas well roads and we ran into a tree down too low for me to get under.
Of course the little short Jeep was able to get under it.


We continued on out that road for a good mile or so and came to a point where we could no longer fit. (Trail turned into a ATV path)
So we decided to go up to the top of the hill near us and take a break and a few pictures of the area.






And of course, one of these had to be posted, out of the 30 or so I took.



And one of the Jeep for good measure.

Granted I don't take many pictures when I am out wheeling, Which is a downfall, because I could get plenty of awesome pictures if I were riding along with other people.

Lets see here, These were from the last week in November, Actually the last day of November this year.

Finally got the chance to go out and hit some of the old trails I ran all the time back when the Xterra was IFS.
Had to take a few pictures of places I remembered I had photos of before.







I want more flex.


Stuffing the front tire.


And the others that joined in that day. A Ranger and a Blazer.





I believe I started something there...


And I need to invest in some White Knuckle rocksliders because that kick out would have been nice to help me getting back inside the X.

I think I'm gonna do that sometime. I really need a tubing bender, bad.

And the flex is nice in the front, Not so much for the rear.
