Comments:
I traded in the 2005 S in August 2013 for a brand new 2013 Pro4X with manual transmission. I had heavily modded the '05 but was concerned about putting more money into it with its age. After weighing options for regearing, air lockers, etc - the money was better spent on a nice down payment for the new truck with the e-locker, 3.69 gears, manual tranny, creature comforts and newness! I brought over my Shrock front bumper, Chef Nate rear bumper, NXRocks skids, Gobi Stealth roof rack, Volant CAI, BullyDog tuner and Cobra 75XL CB plus added the NissTec suspension and Nitto Trail Grapplers to go big. I had hoped to not need to BL this truck and I got what I wished for. I barely fit in the garage (

Thanks, guys! I didn't get a new one to be a grocery getter/ mall crawler. I got it for the locker, gears and manual tranny.
The guys at Boulder Nissan busted their butts to get everything done for me in time to make that run yesterday.
It had maybe 20 miles on the odometer when I left the house to wheel yesterday. :D

Dude, awesome rig first off! I was wondering did Nissan install all your goodies for you?! Its rad see'in it all modded up on the showroom floor!...I have a 2012 PRO-4X and am new to wheeling I have really only gone mudding in it...But I would like to use the potential of my truck to the fullest like yours!

Thanks, man! Yes, I worked a deal with Boulder Nissan and they swapped my bumpers, skids and Gobi to the new truck and also installed the lift. I got to keep my goodies and roll out with a brand new truck!

Dear sir:

I drove a Prius for the first time today as part of a study at work.

Please, do me a favor -

Plow them. Plow them all.

Thank you in advance,
Jack Stilts

I have an incredible amount of respect for you taking your brand new x on the trail so soon. :)

What do you have planned for this one?

Thank you! I didn't buy this one to be a mall crawler. I bought it to upgrade my gearing, locker, and general durability/longevity.

As for plans:
Immediately I am getting sliders (Hefty) and diff cover (Shrock) to finish off my protection.
Front/side window tint to match the back windows

Short/mid term:
I will put a snorkel on it.
Different leaf pack

Long term:
T-swap?
4.10 or 4.56 gearing?
T-case upgrade?
Accessories:
Roof top tent

All term:
Wheel it and destroy Priuseses!!!

I'm surprised you didn't keep the Pro Comps, but at least the Pro4x/OR wheels look better than the steelies or the S wheels.

Yeah, I wanted to keep them but I don't want to trim fenders, yet. Also, Boulder Nissan wanted them in the trade.
I was ok with the Pro-4X wheels - I strongly dislike the 5 spoke S wheels but that is a moot point.
