P&P Engineering is doing a Group Buy on almost all our products. It is officially open and collecting orders as of this thread being posted. There will be a separate thread for each product to keep it more easily organized and discussion focused on the particular product.
Rock sliders will be a little different than most of our other products. We will not need 5+ for 1st gen to have a 1st gen group buy and 5+ for 2nd gen to have a 2nd gen group buy. Since the materials are all the same we can order material in bulk with 5+ of 1st OR 2nd gen confirmed.
*All of our sliders come with brackets that have holes to mount the sliders in 1 location for non-body lifted trucks, then allow you to move them up ~2" if you body lift the truck in the future. No need to choose. 1 set of sliders for life.
*All of our sliders CAN be made to interface with our fender protector system - shown in the picture for Gen1 TypeIII.
All pricing is done from the base, without powder coating. Then options can be added at additional cost. Base pricing and all options are discounted prices who's discount grows as each tier for that option is reached. Because we do not powder coat in house I need each tier to be reached for powder coating services to be able to give that discount on powder. I do not control the pricing of this and I do not mark it up at all. Cost of powder coat is always passed directly through. I actually lose money when you count my time and fuel to drive to/from the powder coater.
We have the ability to make ~20 pairs of sliders/week. Lead time on these is expected to be 2-3 weeks after the close of the group buy - or after reaching the 10 confirmed/deposited orders we will order our materials and start production. We will be able to turn these FAST. Example If you ordered powder coated sliders and we started production Feb. 1 you could expect to have tracking on your order before March 1.
Please allow an additional ~10-14 days for powder coat. We will be taking a LARGE order to powder coat so it may slow him down a little bit, but he has a huge oven so maybe not.
Pricing:
Frontier add $15 to the Xterra price

*Shipping in the conUS is $75 for Xterra sliders and $85 in the conUS. Pickuop at the shop in Elkhart, IN is FREE and you will get free installation.

Mounting System
We have a thread all about it here:
http://www.xterranation.org/showthr...ineering-2nd-Gen-Rock-Sliders-Mounting-Points
We go a step farther than just shoving a bolt into the through holes. For the front and middle mounts we use a high strength steel pin to sleeve the frame. The pin is thicker than the DOM tubing used for the top rails and it is welded to our backing plate.
We then use a 5/8" grade 8 bolt to make the connection.
There are 2 slotted holes in the frame. The same ones most people use to mount to buy just putting a ~1/2" bolt through. Difference Being we sleeve the hole in the frame with the high strength steel pin so it fills the vertical cross section.
We can do our sliders for 1st gen frontiers but we need a guinea pig to come by the shop for fitment - Elkhart, IN. For this you will receive an additional 20% off the group buy price and free install.
