Auto Engine into a 5-speed X

I have a 2000 v6 5speed that i hydro locked and blew the motor. I've got a salvage motor that was originally an auto and i bought a clutch to put on it but i got looking at the end of the crank an noticed there is an extra collar pressed into the end of the crank (on the auto) that isn't on the original engine. I assume that is normal but has anyone dealt with this before? will it need to come out to allow room for the input shaft? any ideas on getting it out?

To be clear, it looks like a royal PITA to get out so if i don't have to remove it that would be best haha

Yeah, there's a different bushing for the end of the crank. You'll also have to change the flex plate from the auto (flimsy thing) into a real flywheel (heavy thing).

Beyond that, it's the same engine.
