Yea I'm really excited to get it all together. Had a death in the family so I am riding the Harley in the funeral tomorrow morning then headed to my buddies shop to throw her up on the lift and get **** going. We should be able to have it all done and roughly aligned before it's to dark to see lol

I'm not good with verbal documentation so I'm going to throw up the progression pics and if you have any questions I will try to answer them for you

Front end came apart pretty easy until we tried to get the lower control arm bolts out…they didn't come out. We're gonna have to cut them out and replace the lower control arm bushings in the process.

Did end up having to cut the left side rear UCA bolt but luckily the kit came with one

All in all we put it 8 hours of work and got it all pretty much done. All that's left is the brake lines but the stock ones seem to be long enough and full sag and turn without pulling tight and the camber bolts. I'm having pretty bad vibration in the drive line at full lift so I'm going to drop the shackles down a notch in the morning to see if that helps anything. The steering seems pretty sensitive so I'm going to have to research camber angles to fix the twichyness and bump steer. Tires are a little loud but look so bad ass lol also "slip" function keeps coming on during normal driving situations so I'm going to have to look into that as well but for the most part, the job was rather straight forward.

So I dropped the shackles to the lowest position today which greatly reduced the vibration and didn't sacrifice all that much height. Now I will be able to use that adjustment to compensate for sag when I get my bumper, armor, etc…

Looking good. Did you grind away the coil bucket lip so the ball joint boot can clear?

Mine are currently straight. That may change when I tinker with my alignment next time

IMG_1752.JPG IMG_1753.JPG So I went and did a little stretching today, the tucked tire did rub on the frame so I'm going to have to smooth out where the tube is welded through so it doesn't destroy my side wall.
