The ones I saw looked like old ignition solenoids, but they listed as a "rebuild kit" for the old Warn setup. I guess from before that all-in-one solenoid box existed. I like that $180 box. It looks small and easily hidden. Yeah, I do see what you mean about the extra stuff....but you'd still need a way for the handheld remote to complete the circuit on the solenoid. Most of the new stuff I've seen is 5-pin on the handhelds instead of the old 3-pin setup.

Engo is still a 3 pin

GET UP EVERYONE!

/its too quiet in here

I'm here too....gonna have to do some cussing, I think the shift from DSL to "uverse" is going to have screwed me...woke up with no connection, went into the router, hit renew dhcp lease and instant connection. I'd better not have to renew the DHCP lease every few hours on this crap....

anyone know how to set an airport extreme to keep a DHCP connection alive?

Same. My Uverse has been rock solid for the 4 years we've had it. I've even had the same public ip for over a year.

The airport extreme should naturally keep the DHCP alive. There are no settings for such a thing. I use them all the time on cable connections and never have that problem. Sounds like att has you screwed up.
