are you ever even able to find something there? man . . . all day I look
Because VA. Our CL sucks here. Especially for X parts. The Middle TN crew gets the pick of the world on CL.

Also, when I changed my oil yesterday I took a few pics and made a writeup. I posted it in the second gen do it yourself section since I didn't see one already.

If I can make that better in anyway, feel free to let me know. That's my first ever write up. Just wanted to give a bit back to the forum that has given a lot to me.

Uhm.....no. Sorry. Wrong. Things made with Mayo are not good. Even if home made.
.......ass......yes......weenie......no.....
Okay, so you have an in and out solenoid each triggered by a separate signal wire. Got it. 400A seems low for a 9000lb winch. Aren't they usually in the 650 range? what is this other thing about a trigger box you're talking about? Lemme see it.
Just read the specs on the Engo. 340A max. So yeah. Sounds over built. I like it.
Do you know the cost difference between something like the Warn part and just getting two 400A solenoids?

got the full spec from the Engo site. And answered my own question. From looking at it, if you're only wiring for in cab controls, you can forgo the control box altogether and just use the solenoids. Which you can do for the remote, you'd just have to wire an extra circuity to apply power to each input terminal on the solenoid and cut in the plug for the wired remote on the bumper somewhere.
I think it'd be a really elegant setup.
WTF mate? Can a VA homie get a link? Shheeeeittt.
I have been out of touch for 4 years . . . i feel cold, so cold
heh, well, here's a link to the correct warn part for what I'd need...
http://www.amazon.com/WARN-34977-12-Volt-Contactor/dp/B000OV7KYO and that's $233, but, is ONE PIECE, and is much better quality than the solenoid setups...
here's one that'll work too

are the solenoids that you found waterproof and copper terminal'd?
