Wouldn't "Full Coverage" imply that the grill and lights/front clip were also protected?

Got me...are we talking about hoops? I'm not concerned about what goes on above as much as below. Mine was built with wheeling in mind but very little else.

Tim....LOVE that! Did the previous owner fab it themselves or have someone do it? That diamond plate is great.

Thanks! The previous owner had a friend fab it up for him. Apparently he owed him a favor...lol Yeah he had the diamond plate cut for that but never put it on. I added it once I got it home and repainted it. :)

How thick is the Diamond plating? I was gonna get some when I made mine but all of the drop pieces were pretty thick, heavy and rusted. They wanted $30 just to cut me a new section and then add the cost of the plate. I still want a piece to paint flat black.

Here's the front bumper we built for the Boulder Nissan truck.

IMAG0392.jpg

IMAG0398.jpg

The rear tire carrier and bumper uses the existing latches from the tail gate, welded to the carrier with custom release handles. Again, DOM tubing is used. Has a light for the license plate with male/female disconnects if you wanted to pull the carrier off. The carrier folds flat when released. The bumper has the lower mounts for the carrier. No receiver on the bumper. $1600 for the rear bumper and carrier.

There was originally supposed to be one but I ran out of tubing. The one that Allen and Ryan built for the Fronty is just badass!

QUestion about bumpers:

The purpose of bumpers IMO is to protect the frame ends. If you lift the body, you now have created a space between the bumper and the body. Some folks leave, some do not.

To those that do not, by making the mounts 2" taller to raise the bumper to the body aren't you exposing what the bumper is there to protect? Rather shouldn't there be a piece 1 1/2" - 2" attached to the top of the bumper to take up the space if it's the space that folks are worried about? OR am I missing something?

Strictly speaking in terms of geometry. Yes. You are correct. However, I found out when I helped a 2nd gen guy w/ his body lift and we bolted on the rear Shrock afterwards that he frame horns were still covered by the bumper. There was enough space to accommodate the BL and still stay over the frame horns.

I'm assuming the same will be the same if my Shrock ever shows up.

Looks like it had recovery points....but no tow hitch....guess a normal one could be used but might look strange on it.

any idea on what kind of price and shipping to get it sent to the states?

I did not buy. Made by myself. The tow hitch is all ready running.

More pics to the front bumper, this one they sell here.74755_411474975587649_1935846849_n.jpg409298_249311121804036_1503762447_n.jpg100_5661.jpgXTERRA #2.jpgDSC09858 - Cópia.jpg
