Hey guys. How's everyone doing. Super long time since I posted so if this is the wrong area, I apologize, and just let me know where to move it.
Ok, so here's the deal. I have a 2000X, and I'm about to replace the rotors, shims and pads, on the front. Now, the rotors and shims are factory, and the pads, I cannot tell since I bought it used. So I'll assume prolly aftermarket. Now I never had any luck buying aftermarket pads for any of my vehicles. They would always squeal no matter what brand I bought. But, if I bought factory pads for them, I never had a squeal from any of them.
Now if I buy these parts factory, it's going to run me 300 per side. So I would like to know if anyone has replaced the above mentioned with aftermarket parts, and never ever had a squeal or issue from the day they were installed. What brand did you use, and where did you get them? And also, when I pull the hub, what kind/type of grease should I use to repack the bearings and re lube the inner area of the hub.
Thanks so much for your time guys!
P.S. Can someone point me in the direction as to where I can get one of those big "X" decals for my truck?
