Got a new co-pilot today.....
Our daughter was born a healthy 7lbs10oz this afternoon. Happy happy happy times our little valley today
I am really fortunate with where I live, an hour and a bit to the west is one of Canada’s largest city areas, but north-east-south is all forest and mountains. Heck, even a solid half hour west is still full of forest and mountains!Wish I had random trails everywhere around here...

Social distancing up a local logging road, found a boulder and did some climbing with my son.
View attachment 13830 View attachment 13829 Got out for a poke about today. 3 separate drainages/road systems.
The second one was up Bridal Falls FSR, was only 3km long, but man was it steep. Luckily met the 3 other trucks at pull outs, would not have been fun backing down anywhere on this one.
And the final road of the day was a great explore up into the headwaters of Ruby Creek. There were landslides to cross, snow patches, rocks, logs. A lightening storm, and hail. Full meal deal. A great day out.
Once this COVID-19 lockdown is done you’ll likely see me up in your neck of the woods.Nice truck man! Another BC Xterra over here - I'm in Squamish, I look out for your orange X around the back roads!
Pretty sure I saw your X parked at Canadian Tire lot this past week. I was up in Squish for my sons day camp. Saw a fair number of built x’s up there.Nice truck man! Another BC Xterra over here - I'm in Squamish, I'll look out for your orange X around the back roads!
There was an old mine up silver peak, which I believe has had some recent prospecting work done, so between that and the logging it is in pretty good shape. Makes an awesome hike.Been up and down the main road a few times for fishing. Did not know that you could drive up to Silver Peak. Sweet!
