Just a heads up because I haven't read about it anywhere but on my 05 pathy with 65k miles and my 06 X with 53k miles both in the morning had loud cold starts. At times when you first crank it over it would rev high and have a slight tick. Well I'm here to tell you the fix is a OEM oil filter.
My uncle has a 07 Fronty and had the same issue 23k miles. He has always had his oil changed by Nissan. He was out of state and had his oil changed and mentioned this to the oil guy. He said that the OEM filters keep the oil pressure in the filter and the regular ones ie fram and purolator drain off hence the loud noise till it builds oil pressure.
He went to Nissan and mentioned it and they said that you have to ask for OEM filters when you get your oil replaced at the dealership.
So with that USE OEM OIL FILTERS.
