I ordered some yellow second gen xterra decals from creepy a while ago, and this weekend I am final painting my rack. I want to use rustoleum or duplicolor bed liner, but I am not sure if my decals will stick. anyone have any experience with creepys decals on bedliner?

i think you need to use paint, decals dont work so great on bedliner, thats been my experience

if your going to do it, use a heat gun, that's what i do on all my bedlined stuff. slightly put them on and almost like melt it to the bedliner, i've had mine on for about 6months on my roof rack and its holding up just fine.

that sounds like a pretty good idea, so just stick it on then heat it up with heat gun? did you press it back down after you heated it up or just let it kind of melt to it?

Just let it melt. If you try to mess with it while it's hot, you either get burned, or it'll stick to you.

i just used some gloves and slowly pushed it down as it started to melt, you don't want it to melt to much because then the vinyl won't look correct just enough to get the bedliner affect on it and your good.

Just to get back to those wondering, the heat gun worked perfectly for the decals on bedliner. Thanks a lot for the help guys. Here is how it ended up turning out

it's really easy to reassemble. I used duplicolor bed liner at first, but I ended up covering that with rustoleum bed liner. I like that finish much better and the spray nozzle doesn't get clogged up
